Rivermist has been completely redocorated and updated while retaining its gracious and peaceful charm. All rooms have external entries, ensuites, tv's, irons, new beds, posturepedic mattresses, wireless internet and access to the guests' lounge where visitors can relax on the leather lounges, enjoy tea and coffee, and move seamlessly onto the 40 metre verandah with the view of the mountains and immediate access to the river. New barbecue facilites mean that guests may eat in; alternatively, it's a one minute walk to the country bakery, the Friendly Inn pub, Hampden's Fine Dining, Bella's Restaurant and a short drive to Jing Jo's Thai restaurant and the local bowling club which now has a new chef offering a variety of local and imported food to world class standards.
